A Squeeze Page to Learn

A Squeeze Page to read about. Writing copy for your squeeze page does not necessarily require a copywriter. If you have the skills to write it yourself, it certainly doesn’t hurt to try. But if you find that you are not converting as much as you think you should be, your copy could be the reason why. Follow these tips and advice step-by-step to ensure that your copy is up to par and performing as well as it could be on your squeeze page.

How to Build a Squeeze Page

A squeeze page to build:

• If you can afford it or have a budget, go for a copywriter. Some may charge about $50 to write an effective copy for your squeeze page.

• Put yourself in the shoes of your visitor or potential lead.

• List the main benefits for your visitors right away. Don’t waste their time why they are on your squeeze page.

• Put those benefits in a list of bullets with the most beneficial one at the very top. This way the visitor can scan your squeeze page easily and without any troubles.

• Use those bullets to answer any potential questions your visitor may have. Answer: who, what, when, how, and why.

• Put as much effort and if not more into your copy for your squeeze page as you do for your sales copy.

How to Make a Squeeze Page

A Squeeze Page to...

• What ever you are trying to entice the reader with, whether it is a free e-book or white paper, be sure to give details about that e-book. How will it help the visitor?

• Focus on how the lives of the visitors will be helped immensely instead of touting about how great your product is

• Don’t sell your product. The point of having a squeeze page is to capture email leads. Selling is for later.

• Address the question about what the visitor will get in return. They will need to receive some sort of value from you after giving up their email address.

• Be serious about privacy. Tell the visitor that you won’t sell or give away their email address and be frank about it. Keep your credibility in tact.

• Build a compelling case without having to take more than a single page of your squeeze page. Don’t bore your visitor to death.

• Lastly, be direct and to the point. No beating around the bush.

Those tips alone are able to make your conversion rates better by having a better copy. Always try to think in the perspective of your would-be customer.
